Why This Is The Best Chocolate Strawberry Banana Smoothie

  • It only has 3 ingredients. It’s easy and simple to make with only 3 things — a banana, frozen strawberries and chocolate almond milk.
  • It’s healthy. Using chocolate almond milk rather than chocolate dairy milk or chocolate flavoring makes this smoothie healthier than other chocolate smoothies.
  • It tastes like chocolate strawberries. This smoothie is addictively good! It tastes just like you are drinking chocolate strawberries.

  • Chocolate Almond Milk: The chocolate almond flavor tastes delicious in this smoothie, but if you can’t find chocolate almond milk, you can use regular chocolate milk, or another chocolate dairy free milk instead.

Instructions

Add the chocolate almond milk, frozen strawberries and banana to a blender. Blend well until smooth and there are no chunks left. Enjoy!

FAQ

Can I use fresh strawberries instead of frozen strawberries?

Yes. You will need to add in some ice to give the smoothie the same, refreshing slushy texture. You also may need to adjust the amount of chocolate milk added to get the right consistency.

Can I make this smoothie in advance?

Yes, but it won’t taste as fresh. You can make this smoothie in advance and store it in an airtight container in the fridge, but smoothies always taste best fresh.

Expert Tips

  • Use a high quality blender. If you enjoy smoothies, it is worth it to invest in a high quality blender. Also, using a blender cup rather than the large blender attachment creates a smoother smoothie without any chunks of fruit left over.
  • Adjust the amount of liquid. You may need to add slightly more or less chocolate milk to get the consistency you like in this smoothie. This recipe makes a slightly thicker smoothie.
