Description

This easy starbucks doppio is an easy to make copycat espresso drink. A double shot of espresso, with a dollop of steamed milk and a scoop of bubbly milk foam.

  • 2 oz milk*

Notes

  • This recipe makes extra milk. You will be left with a small amount of extra milk if you are only making one doppio. It is difficult to heat a smaller amount of milk on a saucepan without having it burn. Ideally, make 2 or 3 macchiatos at a time to use up the milk.
  • Don’t burn the milk. When heating such a small quantity of milk, it is very easy to scald or burn the milk. Watch it the entire time you are heating it up and as soon as you see steam coming off of the milk, remove it from the stove. This should only take 2-3 minutes.
