This refreshing raspberry margarita on the rocks recipe is sure to be your next summertime favorite! It’s made with real raspberries for the freshest raspberry flavor.

- Raspberry Simple Syrup:
- ½ cup raspberries
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup water
- Raspberry Margarita:
- 1 ½ oz raspberry simple syrup
- 1 ½ oz tequila
- ½ oz lime juice, freshly squeezed
- ½ tbsp Cointreau
- Salt to rim the margarita glass
Instructions
- Heat the raspberries, sugar and water in a small saucepan over medium heat. Continue to heat for 5 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally and pressing on the raspberries to release their juices.
- Once the sugar has completely dissolved, remove the syrup from the stove and strain out the raspberry chunks.
- Run a lime wedge around the edge of the margarita glass. Press the edge of the glass into salt, gently rolling to make it stick.
- Add the raspberry simple syrup, tequila, lime juice and Cointreau to a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake well for 15 to 20 seconds until the outside is frosted.
- Strain and pour into the prepared margarita glass filled with fresh ice.
Notes
- Store leftover raspberry syrup in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 to 2 weeks.
