Description
This pomegranate gin cocktail is a sweet & tart drink that is easy to make during the winter season.
Ingredients

- 2 oz pomegranate juice
- 1 oz gin
- ¾ oz lemon juice, freshly squeezed
- ¾ oz simple syrup
- 2 ½ oz club soda or tonic water
Instructions
- Add the pomegranate juice, gin, lemon juice and simple syrup to a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake well for 10 to 15 seconds until the outside of the shaker is frosted.
- Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Top with the club soda and serve immediately.
Notes
- Mocktail. For a mocktail, leave out the gin. If the drink is too sweet, leave out the simple syrup as well, or add in an extra ½ oz of lemon juice.
- Use a flavored simple syrup. Elevate this cocktail by using an herb-infused simple syrup instead of regular simple syrup. Try this rosemary simple syrup or this thyme simple syrup.
