Description
This delicious, chocolate iced mocha latte is an easy copycat version of the Starbucks' favorite. Save time and money and make this drink at home every morning.

- Chocolate Simple Syrup:
- ¼ cup cocoa powder
- ¾ cup water
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- Iced Mocha Latte:
- ½ cup coffee, chilled
- ¼ cup milk
- 2 tbsp heavy cream
- 3 tbsp chocolate simple syrup
- handful of ice
Instructions
- Make the chocolate simple syrup: On a saucepan over medium to high heat, heat the cocoa powder, water and granulated sugar. Bring to a gentle simmer. Continue to simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally until the sugar has fully dissolved. Remove the syrup from the heat and let it cool for 5 minutes before mixing into your latte.
- Make the iced mocha latte: Mix the coffee, milk, cream and chocolate simple syrup together. Add in a handful of ice and drink immediately.
Notes
- Store any leftover chocolate simple syrup in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
- You can use a store bought chocolate simple syrup instead of this homemade one if you prefer, but you may need to adjust the quantity added.
