Description
This floral earl grey syrup is a unique flavoring for any type of drink. It’s easy to make with a tea bag or loose leaf tea in only 10 minutes.
Instructions
- Steep the tea bag in the boiling water for 5 minutes.
- Discard the tea bag and add the water to a small saucepan. Stir in the granulated sugar and heat on medium heat.
- Continue to heat, stirring occasionally until the sugar has fully dissolved. Once the sugar has dissolved, remove the saucepan from the stove and let it cool to room temperature before storing.
Notes
- *If using loose leaf tea, use 1 tbsp of tea and use a tea strainer to easily remove the leaves.
- Storage: Store syrup in an airtight glass container in the fridge for up to 1 to 2 weeks.
- Using the syrup: Use this earl grey syrup in any type of drink, such as one of these earl grey cocktails.
