Description
These creamy birthday cake overnight oats taste like you’re eating dessert for breakfast! They are easy to prepare in 5 minutes for busy weekday mornings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup rolled oats
- ¼ cup sprinkles*
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp almond butter
- ½ tbsp chia seeds
- ¾ tsp vanilla extract
- ¼ tsp almond extract
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix the milk and oats together.
- Stir in the sprinkles, maple syrup, granulated sugar, almond butter, chia seeds, vanilla extract and almond extract.
- Divide the oats into two containers or serving jars. Cover and refrigerate overnight or for at least 6 hours.
- Optionally, top with whipped cream and an extra scoop of sprinkles before serving.
Notes
- *The sprinkle colors will bleed in these oats. If you have multi-colored sprinkles, they may create an ugly brown color. To prevent the colors from bleeding, stir the sprinkles into the oats right before serving.
