Description
This healthy almond milk matcha latte tastes just like you ordered it from a fancy coffee shop. The perfect balance of matcha flavor with creamy, frothed almond milk, sweetened with maple syrup and a dash of vanilla extract.

- 1 tsp matcha powder
- 2 tbsp hot water
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup almond milk
Instructions
- In a latte cup, combine the matcha powder and hot water. Use a matcha whisk to fully dissolve the matcha powder. Make sure there are no lumps of powder left. Add the maple syrup and vanilla extract to the matcha mixture. Mix to combine. Set aside for now.
- In a tall glass, use a handheld frother to froth the almond milk. Keep the frother submerged in the almond milk— don’t bring it up too close to the surface. Use low to medium speed for 15 - 30 seconds until the milk froths up in volume.
- Microwave the frothed almond milk for 30 - 60 seconds until it is hot.
- Use a spoon to hold back the frothed part of the almond milk and pour the hot milk onto the matcha mixture. Then scoop the remaining almond milk foam on top. Serve immediately. Enjoy!
Notes
- Make sure the almond milk is cold (fresh out of the fridge) before frothing. It will create a creamier foam.
