Description
This fruity papaya rum punch cocktail is the best tropical summer cocktail. Made with fresh papaya, orange juice, triple sec and rum. Topped off with club soda for a bit of fizz.

- 2 oz papaya juice (about ½ cup of papaya chunks)
- 1 oz white rum
- 1 oz orange juice, freshly squeezed
- ½ oz triple sec
- ¼ oz simple syrup
- 2 oz club soda
Instructions
- If making your own papaya juice, pass the fresh papaya chunks through a juicer to extract the juice.
- Add the papaya juice, rum, orange juice, triple sec and simple syrup to a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake well for 10 to 15 seconds until the outside of the cocktail shaker is frosted.
- Strain and pour into a prepared cocktail glass filled with fresh ice. Top with club soda. Enjoy responsibly!
Notes
- Making simple syrup: Heat equal proportions of water and sugar together on a saucepan over medium heat. Continue to heat, stirring occasionally until the sugar dissolves. Remove and let cool.
- If you don’t have a juicer: Blend the papaya chunks in a blender until smooth. Then pass the mixture through a fine mesh sieve.
