Ingredients
Scale
- 2 oz pineapple juice
- 2 oz orange juice
- 1 ½ oz tequila
- 1 oz lime juice, freshly squeezed
- ½ tbsp triple sec
- ½ tbsp agave syrup
- margarita salt (optional)
Instructions
- Run a wedge of lime around the rim of a margarita glass. Then, dip the rim in salt, rolling and pressing to make the salt stick.
- Add the pineapple juice, orange juice, tequila, lime juice, triple sec and agave syrup to a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake well for 10 to 15 seconds until the outside of the shaker is frosted.
- Strain and pour into a prepared margarita glass. Serve immediately.
Notes
- If you choose to make your own pineapple and orange juices, use a fine mesh strainer to remove any pulp for the smoothest margarita.
