Description

These maple syrup chocolate chip cookies are soft, chewy and packed with maple and chocolate flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ¼ cups flour (315g)
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • ¾ cup butter, unsalted
  • 1 egg
  • 6 tbsp maple syrup
  • 2 ½ tsp maple extract
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • ½ cup sliced almonds

Instructions

Notes

  • Measure the flour with a scale. It is very easy to accidentally add too much flour when measuring flour with measuring cups. Always use a kitchen scale to measure out the correct amount of flour in grams.
  • Don’t over bake the cookies. These cookies will be very soft when you remove them from the oven, but as they cool, they will firm up slightly.
