Description
This intensely powerful, spicy jalapeño simple syrup is the best way to add spiciness to any cocktail or drink. Made with jalapeño peppers, sugar and water. It is easy to make in less than 15 minutes.
Ingredients

- ½ cup jalapeños, diced
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- ¼ cup water
Instructions
- Heat the jalapeños, sugar and water in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir occasionally. Don’t let the syrup boil.
- Continue stirring until the sugar has completely dissolved. Then, remove the syrup from the stove and strain out the jalapeño chunks and any seeds.
- Let the syrup fully cool to room temperature before using it in drinks or storing it.

- Store leftover jalapeño simple syrup in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 to 2 weeks.
