Description

This Fruit Loop Shot is a fun, easy recipe that is made with real fruit loops! You can use Three Olives Loopy Vodka if you have it, but it is not necessary for this recipe.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 tbsp fruit loops
  • 1 oz half & half
  • 1 oz vodka*
  • 1 oz blue curaçao

Instructions

  1. Rim the shot glass: Crush a couple fruit loops. Dip the rim of the shot glass into a dash of blue curaçao, then press it into the crushed fruit loops, rolling gently to make them stick. Set aside.
  2. Soak the fruit loops: Soak the remainder of the fruit loops in the half and half for about 5 minutes, until they have mostly dissolved. Strain out the remaining pieces.
  3. Make the shot: Add the fruit loop flavored half & half, vodka and blue curaçao to a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake well for 20 seconds and strain into the prepared shot glass. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • *Vodka: I use regular vodka in this recipe because it is the easiest type to find. However, if you have it, you can use Loopy Vodka (which is fruit loop flavored). Or, you can use vanilla or whipped cream vodka which also works nicely.
