Description
This bourbon raspberry cocktail is an easy craft cocktail to make at home without any fancy equipment or ingredients.

- Raspberry Simple Syrup:
- ½ cup raspberries
- ½ cup water
- 6 tbsp granulated sugar
- Bourbon Raspberry Cocktail:
- 1 oz raspberry simple syrup
- 1 oz bourbon
- 1 oz orange juice
- ½ oz lemon juice
- 4 oz club soda
Instructions
- On a saucepan over medium heat, bring the raspberries, water and sugar to a gentle simmer, stirring occasionally. Continue to gently simmer the syrup for 5 to 10 minutes. Don’t let it boil.
- Remove the syrup from the heat, strain out the leftover raspberry pieces. Let the syrup cool for 5 to 10 minutes before mixing it into your cocktail.
- Add the raspberry simple syrup. bourbon, orange juice, lemon juice and a handful of ice to a cocktail shaker. Shake well for 7 to 8 seconds until the outside of the shaker is frosted.
- Strain into a cocktail glass. Top with club soda and serve immediately. Enjoy responsibly!
Notes
- This recipe makes extra raspberry simple syrup. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a couple of weeks.
- If using frozen raspberries, let them partially thaw before using them in the simple syrup.
