Description
This amaretto sunrise cocktail is a beautiful, classy drink. Sweet amaretto liqueur is mixed with peach nectar and peach schnapps, followed by a drop of grenadine to mimic the look of a sunrise.
Ingredients

- 8 oz peach nectar
- 2 oz amaretto
- ½ oz peach schnapps
- Handful of ice
- Dash of grenadine
Instructions
- Add the peach nectar, amaretto, peach schnapps and ice to a serving glass, stir.
- Right before serving, add a dash of grenadine and let it sink to the bottom of the glass for the “sunrise” effect. Stir before drinking.
Notes
- Use a tall glass. The sunrise looks best in a tall, thin glass.
- Skip the grenadine. If you don’t like sweet drinks, you can leave out the grenadine. Grenadine can be very sweet and not everyone enjoys it.
- 1 oz = 2 tbsp = ⅛ cup. Measure in tablespoons or cups if you prefer.
