Ingredients
Scale
- Simple Syrup:
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- ¼ cup water
- Amaretto Martini:
- 4 oz peach nectar
- 1 oz amaretto
- ½ oz vodka
- ½ oz simple syrup
Instructions
- Make the simple syrup: On a small saucepan, heat the sugar and water on medium heat. Stir occasionally. Continue to heat for about 5 minutes until the sugar has completely dissolved. Don’t boil the syrup. As soon as the sugar has dissolved, remove the pan from the stove and let the syrup cool for a few minutes.
- Make the martini: Add the peach nectar, amaretto, vodka and simple syrup to a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake well for 5 to 7 seconds until the outside is frosted. Strain and serve. Enjoy responsibly!
Notes
- Double the recipe: This recipe makes enough for one small, average size martini (3 oz). If you want, double the recipe for a 6 oz martini.
- Store leftover simple syrup in the fridge. You will have extra simple syrup from this recipe. Store the leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a few weeks. You can use simple syrup in many other cocktails.
