Why You’ll Love This Recipe

  • Customizable — Some other recipes for this cocktail use white chocolate liqueur, Chambord, white chocolate syrup or raspberry syrup — but this recipe can be made with any combination of these ingredients so you can use whatever you have on hand.
  • Valentine’s Cocktail — This is the perfect drink to make for date night after dinner. Plus, it’s pink so it’s perfect for Valentine’s.
  • Dessert Cocktail — This is a sweet, rich dessert drink that goes well served with dessert, like this mini strawberry cake.

Ingredients

The ingredients needed to make a white chocolate raspberry martini.
  • Raspberry Vodka: Use raspberry vodka if you can find it, but if regular vodka is all you have on hand, that works well too. There will be enough raspberry flavor from the raspberry syrup to compensate for using regular vodka.
  • White Chocolate Syrup: I use my own homemade white chocolate syrup, but you can use a store bought one instead. If you are buying one, make sure it is a syrup that is meant to be used in drinks (as opposed to drizzling on pancakes, for example). With store bought brands, you may need to adjust the amount you add to the cocktail for the right balance of flavors. As a substitute, you can use a white chocolate liqueur (such as Godiva).
  • Raspberry Syrup: You can find raspberry simple syrup pre-made, or you can make your own homemade raspberry syrup in just a few minutes with fresh or frozen raspberries. As a substitute, you can use Chambord or another type of raspberry liqueur.

How To Make A Raspberry White Chocolate Martini

Step 1: Add the raspberry vodka, white chocolate syrup and raspberry syrup to a cocktail shaker filled with ice.

Step 2: Shake well and strain into a martini glass.

Expert Tips

  • Chill the glasses. This dessert martini tastes best ice cold. Chill the martini glasses in the fridge for 30 minutes before serving the drink.
  • Add garnish. Some garnish ideas include a white chocolate rim (melt white chocolate, dip the rim in and let it set in the fridge), fresh or frozen raspberries, a dollop of whipped cream, or a sprinkle of white chocolate shavings.
  • Add espresso. Want to turn this drink into a white chocolate espresso raspberry martini? Add in an ounce of freshly brewed espresso for an espresso martini variation.
  • Adjust the strength. For a sweeter drink, use only 1 ounce of vodka, for a stronger martini, use 2 ounces. If you are choosing to use white chocolate liqueur or raspberry liqueur as a substitute, you may want to reduce the amount of vodka to avoid the drink from tasting overly strong.

Recipe FAQs

Can I make this martini with Godiva white chocolate liqueur?

Yes. You can replace the white chocolate syrup with white chocolate liqueur. This will make the drink taste stronger.

Can I make this martini with Chambord?

Yes. If you have Chambord, you can use it instead of the raspberry syrup.

Can I make this drink a chocolate raspberry martini?

Yes. If you prefer a chocolate raspberry martini rather than a white chocolate raspberry martini, use chocolate simple syrup or chocolate liqueur instead of white chocolate syrup.
